Versions of WF, EFII vs JT Campaign Series

Hello gamers,

I received a scn PBEM, but could not play the opponent...

Now when I check my version of EF Elite (bought from the Blitz), I play ver 1.05, but I used to play ver 1.06 before reinstalled.

Anyway, my friend here in Sweden plays also 1.05 so it works.

But we have not been able to reinstall update ver 1.06. Maybe it has something to do with Windows ver on our PC's.

When it comes to EFII, we have the Blitz update disk, I think this is ver 1.03, but I'm not sure.

The Question now, we are going to buy JT Campaign Series from Matrix. On Matrix sites it says 15 sept 2008, that a major update (1.03) was done during the summer and now a new one that will bring the game up to ver 1.04.

Has this anything to do with TalonSofts/theBlitz 1.05 or 1.06 (WF Elite), or the BattlePack disk from theBlitz?

Just asking so I know before we order new game disks.

The Matirx Campaign Series 1.00 was the same (with improvements) as the 1.05 UPDATE available for the Talonsoft version.

The Matrix Campaign Series has been additionally updated to the 1.04 UPDATE with a future UPDATE (1.05) coming after the release of Modern Wars: Volume I.
