What a view Marcus. Now I am thinking of a vacation to the Solomons.

Boys im away in Gizo, a resort town further up the chain. Awesome place to be.

But last weekend i went to an open air museum and have some great pics, sat in the seat of a P-38, climbed in a Wildcat, climbed over Japanese 105 mm and 155 mm artillary.

Will post some pics when im back.

Good to hear from you all. Big Grin

Hi Guys

Really good to hear from you all, good to see all the old faces still here, Scud, Gila, Vesku, Foul, Greybeard, Weasel, Walrus, Dog Soldier, gabeeg and even my bro Klanx.
The games we play here were always good fun but the real thing that kept me coming back was the comrades I made, and in the end its the tie that has kinda brought me back here again, so many good times.

But seriously if your thinking of a war tour, forget the major places where every one has been. The Solomon Islands chain is amazing, there is diving a plenty, war tours, and its all so close and cheap as.

RE: Hi from Wigam
Very cool. Is JFK island the island he swam to when his PT boat went down?

RE: Hi from Wigam
JFK Island is indeed the island he and his remaining crew swam to after being in Blackett Straight for 17 hrs.
