Interesting change in mortars, now use reposition them could be another problem to have in mind.

Ummm a little question, the defensive value in infantry guns... has some kind of bonus??? and in general the direct fire guns, i really dont know how work this in SQB.

I really enjoy read the notes/Faq, i feel i am going to have many WTF moments when i do something with the PzC chip Rolling Eyes

Something i miss is the loss recovery maybe not in short scens but if in certain moment is necesary have scens covering 2 or more days is interesting and maybe necesary add this feature (maybe not in PzC i think in a vehicle recover rule to only recover strength in night for example).

The game is not released and we have the first mods this is great Big Grin

I would guess that infantry range is 1 hex or 250m, outside the hex they are in. The MG42 should be good for 4 hexes or 1000m.

When it comes to 3D graphics and maps, CS is tough to beat. I don't think anybody should delve into 3D graphics unless they can do as good as CS. There is no doubt what kind of vehicles you are looking at in that game. Sudden Strike was another that did great with 3D graphics. Both are very well done in that respect.

With the 2D, I think it would be great to patch the 2D relief maps into all the titles in SBs and PzCs/MCs.

Guys,

It may shock you but the average infantry platoon can shoot three to four hexes. That's out to 1,000 meters. Keep in mind that there is pretty serious range attenuation and most (effective) shots will be one to two hexes away maximum. These rifle platoons have LMG's etc included in their inventory which is a factor in the range. SMG units usually have a two hex range and pure MG units four to six dependent on the equipment. It becomes pot shots beyond two hexes for anything other than an MG and half the time you don't want to reveal your position until you can see the whites of their eyes...
