Tommy Lobster has it and thinks highly of it. Lovely graphics. And it has the English (British) Civil War.
To quote him For pbem games Matrix have a system where you create an account on their server to find opponents, when you finish a game turn it automatically sends the file to their server to be picked up by your opponent, it doesn’t actually use emails.
I know nothing about the Matrix servers or any other company's servers however, from my POV games that use servers are only good while there is a supported server to play on. Five to eight years from now, will there still be a supported server to play these games on? I guess time will tell.
Because of "longevity issues" that is why I favor good old PBEM. 5-8 years down the road, I know that I still will have the option to play my games, if I choose to.
