I'm wondering how representative the motorized infantry image is, if it's the current one. As far as I know based on squad composition in other wargames, rifle sections included 8 riflemen, a Brengunner and a man with a Sten.

Aside from any .30 cals mounted on the carriers, I believe motor sections also used British weaponry by this point.

From; http://www.bayonetstrength.150m.com/Brit...201945.htm

Each Rifle Section was commanded by a Corporal, and consisted of a rifle group of six men, and a gun group with a Lance-corporal, gunner and loader.  The Thompson submachine gun was now being increasingly replaced by the British made Sten.

So yes it wasn't common, but it was still in use. The original photo this was taken from was in Normandy.

-Is strange the look in the UK troops more than have a helmet look like they have a white cap, remember me the  old recon guy in Kurks that in first version looks like is weaing a gas mask but here is the oposite thing, light colour is the confusion.

Here is the original photo.

I think it's more to do with the lighting of the figure - facing a window. I have tried some tweaks and haven't improved it...

I see, the picture is good but the light... allways the light if he wants a good picture at least close the window hehehe.

For me you can sidetrack the thread all the times you want or need, is a good way to read and learn new things.

Hi everyone,

JC from http://kriegsimulation.blogspot.in/ is posting the first ever after action report for Panzer Battles 2.

To follow his progress, see the first installment here;

http://kriegsimulation.blogspot.com/2015...ou-to.html

As called out, this is a beta version and changes are still being made to the game, but JC's experience is indicative of the overall game play.

I believe this will be a multi-installment story so keep an eye out over at JC's site.

Nice, a good idea "subcontract" the AAR in a 3rd part, this give you more time and if something is wrong say "not my fault" Big Grin

I am a little surprised with the "top secret" around units/locations names specially when he say in AAR that title name is wellknow in certain web Big Grin2  expect the secret around names doesnt prevent us catch the ultra secret new feature.

Maybe an AAR like this needs a mirror system to see the situation in both sides of the hill but is better half AAR than no AAR.

Oooo something i dont remember ask about last leaks... the army company for germans is set at 99 soldiers at full strenght... this means that we are going to have diferent OOBs to show diferent situations in campaign??? or you offer an OOB less "generic" than Kursk with more variations in strenght and quality even inside the same division???

Keep it moving, time is like air, you cant see it but you feel when it disapear Whistle

PD: you have the title subtitle???

Interesting first installment of the AAR, I'm puzzled by there being no less than three rail lines, as Normandy is notably lacking north-south raillines.
