Viability of old disks

RE: Viability of old disks
Ah as i suspected you loaded the older games to the location that the disc wishes to go to, the trick is when during set up you are asked if you want to download the game to the default location (which is in programme files) or a custom location you need to select "custom" and then navigate to a location on you C drive outside of programme files (as Gary suggested) and everything will work OK.

I just did this with my old F14 disc when loading onto my Win10 laptop and it works just fine.

So no need to buy new versions, you just need a tiny bit of PC savvy to make them work. Wink

My 2 Cents  RE: Viability of old disks
BTW I recommend to spare the original "Program Files" and "Program Files (x86)" folders for any installation that you can, it can save you a lot trouble. This is no problem special HPS problem, it can hit you with every software.
