from the notes pdf, p.32:

All values have used an updated McNamara system

did some searches on the reference to McNamara system and came up empty apart from similar references in PzC game notes.  Is this an original reference to Bob McNamara from ASL fame?

Hi Chris,

The McNamara database/system is based on the ASL ratings as put together by McNamara and team. This was done by Ed "Volcano Man" to provide a consistent basis for unit ratings, and takes the ASL ratings and massages them in a consistent manner in deriving the ratings used. He used them in creating his ALT versions of the scenarios, and the later PzC releases generally have used them as the basis for their ratings, along with both PzB games.

For PzB, they are altered due to scale from what VM came up with for the PzC series.

Thanks for the info Rick, that is indeed good news that it's based on Bob's (and others) exhaustive work for ASL.
