It's my pleasure to announce the start of the first round. Below are the pairings:

Please note there won't be any random draw any further. The winner from the liberty24 - wellsonian game will play against the winner from the weapon2010 - Michael Dorosh game and so on.


The first player listed will start both setups and send the first turn to his opponent.
The games are to be played using 'Iron' as skill level, unless otherwise agreed.
The game will count as an on-ladder game and will be reported just like a regular game unless you otherwise agree with your opponent.


Some words about gameplay:

1) Pre-planned arty strikes are forbidden for the defending player.
2) The allied player isn't allowed to purchase more than 1 rocket battery.
3) The allied player is limited to 2 TRPs, the axis player to 4 TRPs
4) At least 25-33% of your available points must be spent on infantry.



The map is attached to this post (look at the bottom for the !WachtAmRhein-1.zip file) and must be unzipped and copied in the 'c:\Users\<Your Name>\Documents\Battlefront\Combat Mission\Final Blitzkrieg\Game Files\Quick Battle Maps\' folder.

Here are the params which must be used to start the game:




Then, on the next screen the !WachtAmRhein-1 map should be listed as the first entry.




For those of you less familiarized with the blitz interface, you can contact your opponent by clicking on the 'Members page'  (https://www.theblitz.club/members/b-18.htm) and using the bottom search form to locate his profile. Once on his profile, you'll see two red buttons: Message Me and Email Me, from where you'll be able to either send him a private message or an email.

Yes, stoffel unfortunately had to drop out due to RL issues.

I sent a PM to a member who was on the replacements list. As soon as he confirms he's still interested, i'll officially assign him as your new opponent.
