Anyone had an issue with installing the patch in the middle of a game?

No, this patch went smoothly.

Remember the official process - watch the turn, go to the command phase, save. Do the patch open the saved game, finish your orders, press the BRB to generate your opponent's turn. Coordinate with them to make sure they are ready with 3.12 to play it.
