Gents here is an update on Ed:

Ed is now home and is doing well. He's obviously in a bit of discomfort, but considering what he has had done, he is doing miraculously well! I can't tell you how much it means to Ed that you and the rest of his gaming buddies are there for him. Your emails and messages lift his spirits, so thank you.

Hey guys!

I did my first post op with my medical team and it went great! There was no cancer in the lymph nodes they tested and the bladder cancer was encapsulated.
So I am "cancer free" now!!!

The surgery went very well, but due to all the scar tissue from previous surgeries there was a concern about blood supply, which in turn preventing them from creating a neo bladder.
I now have an ostomy bag, but I am cool with it. Cancer free and lots of positives of an ostomy bag vs neo bladder.

Did I say "Cancer Free"? Cheers4

Wow, that is super great news, Ed.

Make sure you follow 100% of your doctor's instructions as you don't want to accidentally rip out any stitches or staples that you may have.

So make sure you relax.

Before you know it your Yankees regular season will be starting up.

I know I speak for many of us, in that we are all very thankful in how things went and for you keeping us posted as to how you are doing.

Relax and have a couple of SB games on us! Thumbs Up
