A1steaks & I just finished our game early. Overall, very unbalanced in favour of the Axis player. The Allied player is forced to enter in a single location along a narrow road with no easy way off the road since it is lined with hedges and trees. The battle would be a lot better by giving the Allied player an entire dismounted company (perhaps with a pioneer squad or two to clear obstacles) and a large deployment area to choose from along the edge.

Maybe I played badly as Germans, but it wasn't an easy victory for me.

I sent my ideas about how to tweak play balance to scenario author.
We'll see what kind of scenario gets released.

I thought you played it well, I really had to work hard throughout.

I thought the scenario would be well balanced if certain units were replaced with others, as we discussed.

I will mention what we talked about to the designer when I get the time.

I managed to get a Major Victory defending as the Germans.

Baluka (Allies) and Jobu88 (Germans) have finished  CMBN Contact Front,   German tactical victory.

An entertaining scenario, plenty of options for both sides.  Allied side could possibly use another platoon of infantry since they have the burden of attacking.
