There is an error that is not a valid win32 at startup. Hell, I have no idea what the problem is. Marengo is working very well.

has anyone had difficulty creating a pbem file.

I have an opponent who is getting this message when trying to create a pbem file.

Get message: Error opening log file: pbemail.yyy

he has created pbem files for other games.

I created a file for him and he cannot open that file either.

He needs to contact Tech Support so John Tiller finds out about it. I have never had that problem either.

I hate to be the one to tell you this however, your days of being able to run new JTS games on your old computer are over.

Marengo is supported in XP

RBR is not supported in XP (Look at the very bottom of this page under system requirements).

Yes, figure that all new JTS games will come with an installer package that will not work with XP.

I have asked John Tiller about future updates as well. Also if the current installers will be updated to be like this.

We had this with Win 98 - I liked the old OS but eventually because MS stopped supporting it so did JTS.

John still supports ALL of his products. I hated getting a new PC last year but my older one was having video issues and it was time to replace it. I don't really like Windows 10 but I use it and if they would fix some things via future updates I would be happy with it. (note: I have disabled Windows updates on my system - I am keeping my ear to the rail on all updates for now)

Does anyone on the test team have any scenarios that they would recommend as being alot of fun to play?

I loved the playtesting.

I think my favourites were variants of Second Stockach aganst Ed Blackburn and Bill Peters.

I'm currently playing the historical Second Stockach (small) and Fleurus (big), when limited time permits.
