Turn 9
The germain fire response is intensive. I need to prepare my troops to hold on their position !
The 13th go north
The 1st Cdn go west to help the 13th.
The 9th continue to go south.
The 7th hold the position on Bénouville.
But the most important thing at this time is the beginning of landing beach on Sword Beach, with the 13-18th Hussars Regiment.
It is composed by Sherman V DD (Donald Duck).
I use Naval gun to destroy and fatigue ennemy artillery.
So now the Victory dialog is
For this turn the losses are :
-76 men for me
-107 men, 3 guns and 1 vehicle for the Axis
As we see the losses are higher for me than the precedent hours.
How long I can hold on the position ?

I have a question on stack limit on beach.
It is the same as the road on parameter data (80) ?

Are you sure ?
I talk about penalty stacking.
With 72 men and 4 vehicles, the stacking on beach is 112X (on red) (1.1).
In other case, I have 89 X in yellow.

Turn 12
Sector of Ranville
I managed to maintain the Germain progress. But they capture “Le Mesnil”. I will capture this town later.
Sector Bavent
My 9th Parachute Bn push on south sucessfully. I will take the german flag soon.
Sector Colombelles
The 8th Parachute Bn is front of 21 Panzer Division, with Somua S307 and Lorraine. I will be difficult to destroy this vehicles without At gun.
I hope I will not eliminate my all Battalion on this !
Sector Biéville
There is not much German defense on this city. There is a company of H39 7,5 Pak 40 near the village.
Sector Sword Beach
I go carefully on the beach.
New Battalion arrived :
-1st Bn The Suffolk Regt
-3rd Commando
-Royal Engineers
Gold Beach
A new Battalion, the 47th (Royal Marine) Cdo is landing on beach on Jig green Sector.
Juno Beach
As new Battalion we have :
-42th Assault Regt Royal Eng is landing on beach on Mike Sectorand -2sd RM Spt Regt.
-Le Regt de la Chaudière
So now let see the Victory dialog !
The losses are :
-256 men, 10 guns, 23 Vehicles, 6 Navals for me
-326 men, 3 gun and 1 vehicle for the Axis
It is a bloody battle ! I can't imagine how bloody is the Omaha scenario !

Ah sorry. It is the same as in regular land. It does go to Yellow stacking at 81, and 101 and higher is red. It isn't determined by the Road limit, but the maximum limit. From the user manual:
Stack Fire – a modifier applies to Direct fire and Indirect fire from half the stacking limit (1.0) up to maximum stacking limit (2.0). This represents the higher casualties due to the increased density in a hex.
There is nothing I know of that defines Yellow and Red more specifically than that. There is no penalty with Yellow, I believe it is just a warning that the stack is close to the limit. In Normandy, max stacking is 200, so the penalty starts at 101.

Tintin87 - great AAR!
There is a penalty though for staying on the beach. Any fire on units in a beach hex have a +25% modifier. This represents the lack of cover and ease of hitting any troops on an open beach. You have to get off that quickly or do what you did, use smoke to mask every defender from seeing you.
Glad you're enjoying the game!
