RE: The Eric Bonner "Boisforas" 2020 Tournament
Hi Dave,
Of course I spoke too soon and out of frustration. I was getting my butt kicked for 11 of the 12 turns.
Thomas and my match just completed as a draw.
The point total was 262. So Thomas was 138 points away from a minor and I was 112 away, so I believe I advance.
It is not a bad scenario, just the variability on the reinforcements.
Tank Graveyard at Minsk and The Battle is Joined come to mind but they are too long for tournament play.
Let me take a look.
Sorry about the rant.
Erik

I see now there's a lot of luck involved with axis reinforcements playing a large role. We all agreed not to play mirrors, so the double elimination has to be the only consolidation I can offer.
I suggest you all give me some suggestions for scenarios you think offer up better balance and I'll choose from one of those for future rounds?

"Break for the Ourthe" WF or is 20 turns too much?

Bracket has been updated and posted to the first page. Still waiting for five more results, then we can begin round three. Some surprising eliminations, so far.

Last game was completed today as a draw. Still waiting to hear who was closest to a minor so we can wrap up round two. Running out, but expect the updated bracket and, hopefully, the next round scenario tonight or tomorrow (provided I get an answer).

Maus Man: Axis
Ashcloud: Allies
Reporting in for Parrying the Thrust as a draw, but Axis loss 458 points, Allies loss 275 points.
After that seesaw fight in the villages I'm guessing Serebryakov is about leveled now. Good game, Ash got the better of my armor in the hills out of town.
