RE: Panzer Campaigns teaser guessing thread
May I note that the map contours look a little misleading regarding the color. Light and dark green seem to blend in with terrain or look close to hexside features like canals. If a user activates contours he usually isn't able to distinguish the already pretty different hex colors, so something stronger would be nice. Brown like we currently have seems fine, nut I guess in muddy terrain that would also be a problem so maybe something even clearer is needed to work on all types of terrain in all conditions.

So are we talking about a Eastern Front monster map? Or just Austria 1945? Stop torturing us, man!

Don't poke them with your finger, hit them with your fist!
That said, I'm looking forward to a global map including the NAZI Ufo base in the Antarctica.

RE: Panzer Campaigns teaser guessing thread
Well, question is if we talk about a classic title around a battle or a title ala Salerno43 with smaller battles in different periods and areas.
I think a title in north area in 1941 or 1943/44 is interesting even when for 1941 i prefer south
I like more now the art and with new engine improvements looks like we are going to have a more easy to see map.
PD: or they add the not a lot secret base in the dark side of the Moon or nothing

Once the major distributiary of the Danube, it is still a major obstacle in the center of the city. Not having it would be a major oversight.
In terms of PzCampaigns, it should be represented as a river. The bridges leading over it (Salztorbrücke, Schwedenbrücke, Marienbrücke, Aspernbrücke, ...) have been demolished in April and Soviets required pioneers to cross it.
Good point, in the 1:500.000 map used by Strela most of the canal isn't visible. It's hard to tell if it's currently represented as a stream, but it doesn't look like it.
Correct, it hadn't shown up on the 1:500,000 map. This map is definitely WIP and we would normally tidy it up once we had a battle to simulate in a particular area. I have now gone and looked at the 1:250,000 and added the canal in.
Superb! Thank you! :)
