Yes. It is strange. I agree.
For some reason I'm not getting the "Hand-Drawn 3D Maps".
What am I doing wrong?
Cheers,
HI, the new map graphics are like 4.5 Gig so are a separate d/l on John Tillers website in the update section.

RE: Waterloo 1.08 now out!
Does one place the Maps folder from the 4.5GB download inside the Map folder as separate maps, a folder, Maps, in the Map folder, or outside so there is both a Map and Maps folder?

Outside so there is both a "Map" and a "Maps" folder.

Technically those in the alt were taken right out of Seven Years War (and used in WPW); that title (SYW) pre-dated any engine change that used the 200% -basically I am saying that they never existed.
It is a pretty easy fix to make a set (and match the texture) - as how they were created was to create a band the width and height of a row, and drop it behind the layer of the hexes - and repeat it all the way down. Leastwise that is how the 50 and 100 sizes were made. I haven't looked for it in awhile. (The hexes in the alt folder would be the limit of anything I did in this ... although the added unit symbols was something that was put together for an engine change in another series).
Fwiw - I didn't see a 200 sized set of fords graphics, either ( but that was in the regular Map folder).

RE: Waterloo 1.08 now out!
I got the latest version of CW during the summer sale.
It contains Revised Waterloo Graphics.zip
But on a quick compare I cannot find any difference between the regular files and the revised ones.
Waterloo_108.msi
Just curious about what’s “missing” - old vs new?

RE: Waterloo 1.08 now out!
v1.08 raised the infantry ammo loss percentage from 4% to about 30%! This must be a bug as the result is low/out of ammo divisions after very few turns. I informed JTS and hope they will fix it. I edited my PDT file so I don't have to wait for the fix.

Fwiw: I am pretty sure it wasn't a bug, however providing the feedback is exactly the way to go. :)

I was pretty sure too and they already acknowledged it ;-) They are working on v1.08a
There is another bug. Infantry in column attacking into a village is evaluated as being disordered.
