I was about to start a game with its scenario, when I open the map I see that there are no highways, or mines in the border area, is this okay? I remember this was in the previous versions ...

There's mines and highways, not sure what u got going on.

Do you have the Gold version of the game but I'm not even sure if that would effect that.

Kind of specific to be missing just those.
