Vassal on Win10

c_Question Mark  Vassal on Win10
I am fairly new to Win10 and was wondering if any of you Win10 users are also using Vassal?

Since Vassal uses Java, it is my understanding that is a huge security threat.

If you are using Vassal, what are you doing so you can use it safely?

Thanks

RE: Vassal on Win10
Hi Chad,

I've been using Vassal for quite some time(8 years?) and never had a security issue. Been running Windows 10 for at least 3 years. To the best of my knowledge, no one I play (at least 50 opponents) have ever had an issue. Fun to play boardgames live! (or PBEM)

Hey Kevin!

Not sure if I was more excited to see your answer or to see that it was actually you on-line!

Thanks for the answer and super glad to see you that you still monitor the Blitz.

It has been a really long time!

I hope all is well for you and the family.

My email hasn't changed.

Drop me a line as I'd love to hear what you have been up to and what you are playing these days!

Take Care!

Chad
