AIW-Arab Israeli War Mod, uses Soviet-Afghan War base game.

World at War, a modern war mod, uses Pacific War base game.

Available Mods and associated base games:
● Red Star over Europe: a 3rd world war 1980's mod, Nato V Soviet Union (modded from Vietnam)
● Africa at War: based on some of the post WW2 African conflicts (modded from Pacific War) *I dont think this is actually an IronX mod
● Arab Israeli War (modded from Soviet Afghan war)
● The Long War, The more recent Afghanistan conflict (modded Soviet Afghan War)
● World at War, covers Chechnya, Iran/Iraq war, Sierra Leone, various late 20th Century conflicts. Base Game is Pacific War

There is some cross compatibility between base games so it may be possible for you to use one or more of these Mods in a different base game, the only way to find out is to try it!

The only problem you might come across is if the mod uses an actual map from the base game in that case you won't be able to play any scenarios based on that map, but I think most scenarios are made on custom built maps so will be included with the Mod.

Red Star Over Europe is well worth looking at if you are interested in a cold war conflict. It is one of the finest, if not the finest, Mods produced for the SB series both in terms of gameplay and graphics.

If you are playing a PBEM game both players must be using the same base game.
