Wanting opponents please!

RE: Wanting opponents please!
It's almost Christmas, and this town still doesn't have a single decorated tree. Fortunately, I have a platoon of motorized Christmas sappers. They will bring coniferous trees and decorations. Some trees are so big that the sappers will probably have to tear down several walls. But it's okay. They are well-trained specialists.

Plus, I have a platoon of mechanized Christmas recon forces to figure out exactly which kids want Tetris and which want Legos.

My main troops are a battalion of mechanized Christmas gnomes. They fit very well into Soviet vehicles.

I'm very disappointed that there is not a lot more snow on the ground. The map just looks like a hazy shade of winter.

I've dressed all my war elves in white, instead of their regular green (why wear green at the north pole, I don't know, but it must be another bad idea by senior leadership).

Oddly enough, my M113s look kinda like sleds. For political reasons, I had to allow Cocoa Cola to sponser all my ATGMs, so if you see a red and white aluminum can come straight at you at 300m/s, you're only hope is to pull the tab before it explodes.

Christmas sappers, I knew I forgot to recruit something. All I have are a bunch of mall gift wrappers and a Nato swap of dutch unit, who are all named Piet for some reason. So far the only thing they've done is get me a lot of questions from Human Resources. But I am told by the Dutch high command that these troops will have no problem breaching houses via the chimneys. I'll believe it when I see it.

I feel really sorry for the loan SAM infantry running around the village. Did he get purchased by accident when picking the Shilka? I promise to try and spare his life, but with so many bullets in the air, it will be a Christmas miracle if he does survive.

Yes. It's my firework team.

I forgot to remove them from the battalion formation. But it's not a big problem, as they are very cheap.

Figured as much. That  only advantages me, and I thank you for the assistance- I need all the help I can get here.

These soviet vehicle swarms. It always feels that no matter how many I pick off, three more take its place. I'll probably run out of AT Ammo before you run out of BMPs.

Oh and ignore all those fire crackers going off in the air. We are trying out a new ballistic toy delivery system.

Lot of fun!

Great engagement, lots of fun.

For the long time, I kept getting ghost images of a tank and BMP on your Left flank, up between the trees, that's why I was trying to sneak my abrams up there. That poor abrams was being held together with chewgum and bailing wire.

Those two Shilka deleted entire squads of mine, certainly they get the MVP. Also hats off for those two simultaneous defensive last stands. It was a lot of fun taking those down and now the engineering Corp will be even happier because they get to rebuild all those german houses back, but better.

Would you care for another match? Do you have any preferences?

[I moved a screen cap of the scenario's selection to your dropbox]

A March Break Probe.

After winning the hearts and minds of all the German children with their brand new Game Boys (and copies of Tetris found in local ammo caches), the US civilian construction workers contracted to come in and rebuild all the destroyed german houses needed to bring their families for a working vacation. The wives had collectively set their hearts on a lovely Ski and Sled resort resting above the quaint town of Volsperdorf. The children wanted to know how to convert the Metric measurement of Vols Per Dorf into Imperial. There is just one little problem- the soviet wives are all tired of vacationing in exotic Minsk. This has led them to demand their comrade colonel husbands occupy a lovely german resort where vodka and borscht run like rivers.

The US construction contractors greased the right palms back in DC, and presto, Task Force Fort Luanderdale was formed.

Mission: Btln sized TF to PROBE three targets; a) Swiss Styled Chalet, Spa, and sleigh barns; at south road junction; b) the indoor car parking and horse sleigh shuttle at north road junction; c) Sleepy village of Volsperdorf and it's shops.

CO's Intent- TF Launderdale to probe A - B - C targets. Intel on shopping variety, family and/or kids only activities, and to - and I quote Shawn directly with, "...and one of those romantic horse cart rides, the kind a wife might forgive her husband for fooling around with MS.Toolcrib 1980." All of the wives would like intel reports on, "what does it look like with dawn cresting the hill, but from lots of different angles"- thus this PROBE action shall be done at dawn and unit leaders are to ensure plenty of camera footage.

Climate/Weather: Unknown, could be any crazy Euro weather.

Air Support: One of the wives want an aerial view of the resort; air support is authorized weather permitting.
Arty/TRP: We have the brochure map, so that should be good enough, and we approve preloading of arty for Pre-Probe planning.

Time: o-dark stupid
Duration: 45min
