(Actually it is 5th Panzer DIVISION).
Steffen aka LEGXXIIPRPF
The term "Fire Brigade" may be uniquely American in origin, or at least English speaking nations. The term means a unit that is frequently kept as a quick reaction force and does not indicate the size of the unit (i.e. Brigade). It's origin refers to actual fire fighters - now called fire departments - that were organized by towns and cities; in military parlance the designated Fire Brigade would respond and put out "fires" (attacks) through swift fire fighting (counter attacks).
Thank you for your explanation!
This makes perfectly sense. My typical disadvantages as non native English speaker.

ShipwreckedFool and I have completed our games with Shipwrecked the eventual best. I think the scores as the starting side were 356 for Shipwrecked and 331 for myself. Good Luck to Shipwrecked and other the prevailing contestants and many thanks to HMCS Rosthern for administrating. I enjoyed the small game focus would like to see this recur on a continual basis perhaps as a round robin next time just to keep the spirt of the club going.

RE: Tiller Operational Campaigns Tournament No. 01
The very first post has been updated with Round 3 Pairings.
Start Date: September 1, 2024
End Date: October 21 2024
Find your name in this chart. The number to the right identifies your pairing partner. Remember, both entrants in the pairing decide on the scenario to play, communicate to the organizers the scenario, and the winner of the mirrored game. 2 games are played, each entrant in the pairing playing both sides of the scenario.
Don't fight a battle if you don't gain anything by winning. - Rommel

RE: Tiller Operational Campaigns Tournament No. 01
Smedley has conceded our round 3 games based on the scoring gap between the 2 games.
