Hello Fellow Blitzmongers:

(I'm envisioning some Mad Maxian scene with mutant wargamers running the desert...throwing sixes hither and yon...;)

And let me say the power of a good roll is often unappreciated.
The best game skill is rolling those sixes.

Which is what I did to Sir Kil.

The first scenarios at first seemed rather simplistic, but with a little time I've come around, they are fun to play.

Keep up the GREAT WORK tourney organizers...and someone wake up his Bigness...Mr. Ivan...;)

You rang Old Dan The Radar Man?? I'm here in my own little Vassal world at the moment! Lately I can never get enough of the old board wargames and with Vassal one can play just about any of those games.

I beg to differ about the sixes. Sixes are terrible in Panzerblitz, Panzer Leader and above all Advanced Squad Leader. You want ones in those games. 

Not sure what you need in Campaign Series other than close range shots and a lot of them! However, still the best computer wargame out there in my opinion!

I got a look at your bavaria1944 scenario Dan! I wouldn't even know how to start that Frankenstein Monster!! Make a doctors appointment and have him check your meds!

Tanker Tony got caught in the path of the hurricane that hit Tampa, Fl. Dan Caviness stepped up to play a second game, but to be fair to his opponent and also following the original World in Flames rules, they were assigned a different scenario. This, in the off chance Dan took whatever scenario info he might gleam in his first game and apply it unfairly to his second.

Tony got his power and WiFi back early, so stepped back in with the OK from Von Dondo. So, they finished the alternate scenario. I don't think Dan had played many turns.

The rule roughly states that if either side has an odd number of players, the CIC of the larger team can pick a player to play two games, but the second game must be an alternate scenario. This avoids byes. I'm going to reserve the right to use byes when necessary (i.e, no volunteers to play two games at once), but hopefully it won't come up.

Tornado season in March, April and May can be a problematic time too! We'll all have to just keep our fingers crossed and watch out for the other unfortunate mishaps that can crop up in real life.
