The CMx2 Blitz ladder is playing a couple of scenarios each month. The goal is to determine how well balanced they are for H2H play. Without further ado, the scenarios played this month are:

CMFB: Home Alive in Forty-Five

CMCW: Abatis

If interested, please post here specifying which of the above scenarios you wish to play.

For those of you unfamiliar on how the SotM works, you can see the guidelines here:

Abatis, please

Probably a stupid question but how do I download this scenario?
Or do I have to sign up for the tournament first?

My information is that this a stock scenario that comes with the game. You should have it. I am not at my gaming machine at the moment so I cannot confirm.

In general though the scenario listing on the Blitz will have a download link or a link to a page that has the download link. Once you download the file using your browser: if the file is a .btt file then move it to your game's scenarios folder under your my documents directory; if the file is a .zip or .rar you need to use WinZip or similar tool to decompress the .btt file to put in the scenarios folder.

Ian:

Thanks for doing this.

I will sign up for either CMFB or the CMCW game, but only for one of them.

So, depending on where the demand lies, I can fill in a spot for either game if you need to balance out your list of opponents.

Thanks again.

I don't have that scenario in my Scenarios folder.
I do have all of the updates and the Downfall Module.
I'll as at the FGM if anyone has it.
Thanks Cat.
