Question:

I often see this in war movies, infantry on the attack hudled behind an advancing friendly tank, etc.. Obviously the armored vehicle is offering some protection to the foot soldiers, from enemy small arms fire directly ahead.
Is this modeled in CM games? (haven't seen anybody use this tactic as of yet)

Like to use the tactic myself when called for, only not sure my men are actually getting the shielding benefit of the tank in front, etc..
