RE: Please help! 2 CS probs
Hey Chris,

Welcome to my world. :P

With regard to the saved games, I am not sure how to fix that, but try installing the WF V1.05 patch anyway. V1.06 you don't want to use as it was buggy and ditched even by TS. I know even with Sealion I installed the V1.05 patch.

As for the "speed" issue, that is a tricky problem. And annoying too. But there are a few ways you can get it livable. One is to turn the resolution on your monitor up to 32 bit color and run the game in that. Works great, even though you get a warning sign saying the game was desigened for 16 bit and may run "slow." Precisely. cheers

Depending on the speed of your processor and graphics card and screen resolution, that may do the trick by itself. My new laptop has very high screen resolution which in 32 bit color slows the game down to about what it was orgininally.

My prior desktop settings, with a lower screen resolution, still resulted in "rapid" replays that were tough to sort out. Like a bunch of mice scurrying about about, or roaches with the light switched on.

To help correct that, you can also adjust the speed settings on your graphic card to slow it down a bit if necessary. In all likelyhood, you should be able to do it with the 32bit color and high screen resolution. But there are settings in the graphics card control panel that can slow it a bit too.

Now, as for the "Thor" problem, I have found it best not to worry about seeing his replays and just play the battles truly "blind." You will find it to be both the most stimulating and least tramatic. :boom2:

Just kidding of course. My guys don't look anything like roaches . . . Big Grin

Thor
