It is with great sadness I have to report the loss of Colonel Pleyer, the brave Colonel went down fighting with many of his men to the Russian Colossus. This has been steadily fighting it's way into the center of town causing a terrible destruction in its wake. Stories are filtering through of what these backward peasants are up to in our town, it should make our men fight all the harder if these stories are true. Perhaps some of the the Red Army has overextended itself, whatever it is really a very grave situation facing Panzer Division Clausewitz. Units are hastily being moved from one position to another to try to plug the gaps in the lines. The talked of reserves would be very useful now, but still they fail to arrive, perhaps the units know what awaits them and are stalling for time somewhere.
Stern action is now required to hold the town and keep the enemy from breaking through, with this in mind General Clausewitz throws caution to the wind and moves towards the front in an effort to inspire the men to one final effort in repelling the reds.
