The Role of the Tank

I see the tank as providing infantry support... this includes destroying the enemies armour to protect my number one priority... the men on the ground.

I very rarely send my tanks out into duels with the enemy armour (depending on the enemy quality)... if I can support the infantry without exposing my tanks I do... however it gets interesting when both players play this strategy and it becomes a game of cat and mouse with the winner usually being the player who reads the terrain better.
