Strike of the Lehr, H.Blauzahn vs Der Stuber, turn 17

General Beyerlein was examing the maps of the area.
His tea was getting cold meanwhile.
What to do?
On the eastern flank, his force has taken all objectives wanted.
Therefore all movement was halted.
The south and the west on the other hand gave the general some pain.
Rauwiller was still defended by a strong american force.
Both sides were struggling for every foot using all means including showels, bajonetts and even rocks (a very insufficient weapon against allied armor, btw.).
Most dangerous is the situation at Kirrberg. A very small german force is facing a large armored US force there.
Fortunately, by stopping any advance on the east, Beyerlein was able to set a number of units free to move westwards.
Speed will now be the key...
