XP PRO Issues HELP!

No patches are required for Europe in Flames.

That is unless you just purchased it in the last few years? If you did then you'll be as surprised as I was to find out it's not the right version.

The disc says Europe in Flames but the game is actually an older version East Front. I actually had to patch my EIF game to version 1.02.

When you install choose the "Custom" install option and then select everything you can.

The sound loop is a big nuisance because it seems some people have problems and others don't. There are a lot of opinions on solutions out there and you just need to fins one that works for you. Some people say after installation start up and play a campaign game before any other scenario can solve some sound issues. You don't need to complete the campaign, just play 1 or 2 turns and then leave it, don't delete it. Not sure if it will help but it's worth a try?
