Axis Turn 12

General Grabung sat dispondently in his makeshift HQ shaking his head at the mysterious fog that had suddenly descended on the battlefield and reduced visibility to zero, pondering what might have been.

With his forces gathered outside St Vith, albeit facing a whole bunch of angry American tankers and the nebelwerfers and heavy artillery gathered to rain death down on the inhabitants of ST Vith his attack had been brought to a halt by the forces of nature.

Lemnitz's men had run in fierce resistance in the Kninels Berg and taken casualties, but with the support of the Panthers and Jadgpanzers had driven them back

In the south Fichtner's men had also ran into a firestorm of lead on the Schleid Berg, but he had regrouped well and committed two companies, Engineers and a supporting Hetzer to overwhelm the defenders and sent them running for safety.

Perhaps it was for the best as the last turn had seen the highest casulaties to date. Either way the battle had been halted and an honourable Draw declared..
