RE: Ambush 312 Spetsnaz Group 4/1984.
Quote:There are no victory hex (only 1 in the NW, with 0 value). No problem for Russia, which goal is to ambush.

But for the Afghan side, they may be granted a reward for escaping.

The destruction even one Soviet soldier puts an opportunity of a victory of the USSR (any of 22 spetsnaz soldier historically was not lost) under doubt.
One soldier Spetsnaz Group has value 500 pts. ;)

Lorries with a valuable cargo at once have been destroyed or left by crew or have turned over and have fallen in the dried up channel of the river.

The most difficult for the Soviet soldiers was to not be lost from attacks of mojaheds before arrival of the help (helicopters Mi-24 and armourgroup).

Mojaheds fired from DshK and RCL Gun, but ineffective as there was a night and did not see the enemy.
There were many attacks of insurgents to the western party of positions spetsnaz group. But machine gunner Bataew has beaten off 5-6 waves of attacks.

After unsuccessful attacks, 10-15 insurgents moved in rear where ordered Part. Org. KPSS (komissar). It was afraid and together with it two soldiers protected rear spetsnaz group. And only detection of danger and fast moving of command AGS-17 has rescueed all (these 10-15 insurgents could shoot in a back all Spetsnaz Group).

Then began to dawn and the help - insurgents retreat has come.

Playing for mojaheds can rescue lorries, but it is very difficult in my opinion.
Then to it remains to destroy 1-2 spetsnaz soldier.
