Another Brilliant Tourney/Campaign Idea

I mentioned the idea once on other site, I got no replies at all, which probably means it's crap. Nevertheless I attempt it again:

how about a multi-game tournament/campaign? There would be 2 opposing force, and the battles would be distributed across games. E.g. smaller scenarios : CMBB, larger scenarios: SPWAW, and many other wargames could be involved. Sea war, air war could be incorporated too.

Each battle would contribute to an overall goal, but the battles itself would be only loosely bound to each other.
