major problem in Matrix 1.02 discovered

I am playing Tiger 88 and i see some of his units as blue question marks and I cannot drive into them to see what they are and I cannot shoot at them.

I also could not direct fire with a mortar crew on a mg platoon, the reason that comes up when you are out of ammo and the sp die rolls seem way out of whack.

We are both patched to 1.02 and I just now before playing the turn downloaded and installed the 1.02a patch.

Any thoughts?
