The differance between CMx1 and "CM"x2.

RE: The differance between CMx1 and "CM"x2.
I'm not to fond of the mechanics of the system with everything being abstracted. Something like shoot at a house and the AI abstracts that I've shot thru every window and door and killed troopers inside.
I cannot understand the idea behind the multiple menu layers just to issue orders to my units, which they will either not follow even remotely close or deviate from to save themselves if they come under fire. The Real time aspect makes menus like this unsuitable. In WeGo, this would be fine but only to a point, as repetitiveness will wear in and having 3+ steps to issue commands bodes weak for enjoyment.
The TacAI is a whole slew of problems, I have watched my units stand beside enemy units and not shoot at them, with either abstracted or real targeting methods. Then as the turn develops, I watch my RPG units stand there while a stryker unit 90 meters away blasts his pals, only to turn away and look elsewhere, all the while the covered arc was dead on that enemy unit.. glitch? BUG? waste of time?..
I have ordered units to drive down a straight road only to come back to view them and find them stuck in a ditch rocking back and forth, then explode as a RPG nukes them. Pathfinding issues abound.. lol

I took my Abrams up to 300 meters away from a T72, blasted it for 2 minutes flat.. watched it drive out from the smoke and shoot all 4 of my Abrams dead with 1 shot each...while my AT equipped Strykers turn ass and run.. and my AT squads of men cower in fear..
I was unimpressed with the minor details they let slip thru as well like misspelled folder names and German language folder names in the English install version. I just wonder what type of testing was even done prior to the release.

I'm really enjoying the game... NOT!

LOL

Anyways I did my bitching and got my refund, I'll buy something else only after I demo it this time..
