New RS ME scen...with accolades

Its easy to be enthusiastic. This series of five scenarios of the early Burma scenarios deserves enthusiasm I think. The maps are really close to the period topographic maps I have seen of these areas. Order of battle is very accurate and the scenarios pretty closely represent the situation at the time of the battles portrayed. It was here that the Japanese dislocated the British forces so badly they were never to recover enough to hold Burma.

Moulmein captures the situation and the dilemma of the British garrison. Can they hold out long enough to successfully evacuate their whole force or should they just try to get away as much as they can before being overrun? The Japanese of course have a chance to change history by crushing the garrison before they get away.


Making a withdrawal under fire is supposedly the hardest operation to pull off successfully. It should be one hell of a test for the British player.
