2 January: Situation by 22.00. VP 6957 (axis turn) Draw.

57th PzK:
211th VGD: fixed ATM. Wachted russian guards in T-Mode, pounding them with artillery and air strikes.
357th VGD: fixed ATM
Szent-Laszlo ID:moving
3th PD (tankless): moving.

4th SS PzK.
The breakthrough is now about 25km wide 25km long. Budapest is about 30km far.
96th ID: moving.
711th VGD: arrived today.
3rd SS PD (Totenkopf) ): Bajna taken. Armored clashes against 1st GMC, dealing heavy damage.
5th SS PD (Wiking): Tarjan taken. Armored clashes against 1st GMC, dealing heavy damage.
6th PD (tankless): Destroyed two batts from 4th GID near Tatabanya. Advancing alongside Wiking.


3rd PzK:

Group Pape & 271th VGD: takes Tatabanya defended by elements of 4th GID. destroyed another batt from 4th GID. Felsogalla taken. Clashed with elements of 1st GMC.

Budapest:
Morning lights showed a closing ring of russian infantry.
Within day, four russian artillery regiments and a AT regiment were caught in T-Mode, thus being destroyed by concentrated air and artillery fire.
By 10.00 russians make heavy assaults against southeast of Budapest between Cinkota (1km penetration) and Kispest (1-2 km penetration) at the end of day those assaults still continues.
Oubuda sector was under preassure as well, they stopped by 14.00
