If the vehicle is soft you can't kill it outright, you must shoot the driver, passenger, mechanic, fuel lines, coolant lines, horn button etc...DAMN FRUSTRATING! When a truck can take a tank round and say "oh you killed my co-driver" well I have a problem.

Obviously, it is possible to kill a soft vehicle with the first shot.
I have done so with AT guns, rockets, mguns, rifles, grenades... anything, really. And that, to me, is the more anoying: the truck goes up in flames and only 1 of the 12 infantry guys in it dies. All the others come out only with smoke damage to their uniforms!

I do not think the "tank round has killed my co-driver" is too much of an issue. Probably not a direct hit. If that were a T55 you would get the message "T55 hit by shell splinters. No effect". In a truck there is no armour, so the shell splinters took someone's head off... fair enough.
Although I accept the kill routines are not perfect: recently I have scored non-penetrating hits with HEAT ammo against light armoured APCs... from 100 and 50m range !!

The other question remains... Can I "kill" a truck by killing all the crew without WinSPWWII or MBT showing the vehicle blowing up?
