SH3 - Well I'll be darned!

So here I was heading back to Lorraine after a horrible patrol off Port of Spain. In all my days patrolling I sank a small coastal vessel (fishing boat really) and a small cargo ship. All torpedoes on board and totally frustrated. Suddenly my watch crew picked up a ship on the horizon, a destroyer. Dammit!, lets go after this guy and get something out of this patrol. So in I sneak to within 700 yards when the destroyer spots my scope and starts an attack run. To hell with diving, I go flank speed, hard to port to bring my rear tubes to bear. Well before I can get around he lays down a string of depth charges....much to shallow and blows the stern off his ass! Well down he goes like a fat man doing a cannon ball dive into a pool! Just amazing, but I didn't get rewarded for him sinking. Luckily off the Azores I sank a 10,000 ton cargo vessel to make myself feel better.
