Foul meets Hadge and the strange story of bunkers/rubble and pre heated toilet paper!
On Saturday i met up with Hadge at his Yorkshire HQ, i had been waiting for months to see inside the "bunker" in the catacombs below his house, turns out it was his computer room, but i didn't let on that i noticed it was on the first floor!! :chin:

I had gone to issue a personal grovelling apology for my conduct in our Stalingrad CG where despite clear orders to the contrary i kept turning villages on roads into rubble in my excitement to get at the Rumanians, after i had done this for the sixth time i didn't want to send the turn back to him or i would tell him to concentrate on a part on the replay well away from my latest "mistake" and hope he didn't notice. :( Eek

He also attempted to improve my knowledge of all things MC, as i thought TIS was Yorkshire for "trouble in store" and a Sagger was a Yorkshire person who had "let themselves go a bit".

But my overriding memory of my stay must be the pre heated toilet paper!! What a amazing idea!! I will never be able to enjoy another ablution with cold paper now i have had my eyes (literary) opened to how the other side lives.............:smoke: :whis:

Joking aside, Chris is a really smashing bloke with a lovely family and i suggest you all give him a game at some point, now would be a good time as we played a 10 turn hotseat scenario and he didn't produce a single A4 sheet of planning, for the man who's motto is "always have a plan" that is a bit worrying, could he be ill...........:conf: Big Grin
