Historical Bulge Campaign Opponent Wanted

RE: Historical Bulge Campaign Opponent Wanted
Michael,
Yes, in my opinion the stock historical CG it is rough on the Germans. The scn database agrees with the record over 2:1 in favor of the Allies. Of course, it is just an opinion and really depends on the players' styles.
I'm in the midst of a Volcano Man's ALT historical CG and I'm holding my own as the Allies counterattack. I think VM's version is better because it allows the Germans to breakdown into companies and has a more accurate reinforcement schedule. However, his changes to combat values and such does mean you have to learn some new ways of playing and use his opt rules.
I also enjoyed Bajan's & Von Egan's Dark Winter version of the historical CG. The OOB is really detailed and accurate and the limited daylight truly reflects the historical visibility. Way cool. My opponent didn't finish the CG we started though so I don't know how it turns out endgame.
Richards made a few modifications to the stock historical CG in his German Coy version. He lowers the VPs, allows Germans to breakdown, and changes a few morale ratings. Small changes that help the Germans.
Jennings' Wacht am Rhein(Herbstnebel) is a major refit. I toying with it solitaire now.
Those are the historical Bulge CGs that are out there which I am familiar with. We can try one of them
OR
I can relent :) and we can play the stock CG.

Enjoy,
Bob
