Friends, observe the power of luck. In the space of two consecutive turns I went from near despair at my chances for pulling out even a draw, to being in good shape for at least a minor win. Turn 21, as I told Tiger in my e-mail, may be the single luckiest turn I have experienced in all of 2007.
First, my SS squad advances and drills a Panzerfaust through the grill of the first T-34, knocking him out ( although the crew didn't bail until halfway into Turn 22). The T-34 has target lock by 0:18, but never fires. Never fired his bow MG either....odd.
