I think ACOW will work under Vista, if you patch it up to 1.04. The patch is available through this site; go G-2 Intel; Game Action; Member Hosted Web Sites; TOAW/COW Mods & Patches. He may have to run it with the no-CD patch, which is also available at the same place. The problem is, the Windows/XP/Vista system may have trouble with the old CD copyprotect device, and the no-CD method gets around that, and also will allow him to play without the CD in the computer.
