I would recommend practicing on smaller medium sized games first before getting straight into a large campaign, that way you can try new tactics and learn how to play against different styles more quickly.

Another good idea is to ask the forum for some pointers and German tactics for S41. Tactics vary by battle, by theater and through out the stages of the war.



PS I know how you feel sometimes in a big campaign you can make such a bad start, that it is all over within a few turns. I did vs Krak recently in the Crusader campaign where I over confidently charged in with my 2 panzer divisions, away way after 30 odd turns the Germans were so badly beaten up I had stop the game.
