RE: Replaying moves and the patch
After some research on the Matrix site and information provided by Jason, I see that simply saving a game has the potential of sending the wrong signal to an opponent.
I often save games during a turn for a variety of reasons:
I don't have enough time to make all my moves.
The fact that I like to cycle through my units (movement and firing) in a particular manner and it's convenient to save as I go so I don't have to repeat the process over and over.
The fact that one is often interrupted by social or job related matters when they had planned to complete the move.
Naked woman standing next to my key board and I know that I won't be able to finish the movement until I get some clothes back on her.
For those of us that "save" our games on a regular bases, especially when playing the larger scenario's, but do not restart our games; this will be a bit of a hassle.
I hope my old-time opponents have enough faith in me to realize that I would never cheat and that new opponents might simply examine my win-loss record.
