I understand how people feel about the saving alert. But I also think it's a step in the right direction. Any anti cheating device should be welcomed as I have spoken to people over the years who won't even play h2h because they think cheating is endemic. It's all a matter of perception I guess. If you are playing a large scenario then surely your opponent will know this and take it into account. You can tell them you will need a lot of saves and warn them in advance. Small to medium scenarios should not require too many saves and if someone continually saves a scenario of this size and seems to have incredible luck you can put the two things together and draw your own conclusions. If you know the person not to be a cheat it's no problem. When the load counter is added as well I think we will have a much better game. For those that don't want anti cheating devices all they have to do is ignore them and inform their opponent of their stance.
I think the connection to a server was a good idea as this could stop cheating altogether as a machine would act as a third party monitor.
