Just leave the "file > save as" feature alone, all it does is save your OOB as a filename of your choice. When you do that, it saved EVERYTHING in the OOB to a file just as if you saved an entire document in Word or Excel, not just a single paragraph of the document. What you are concerned with is the components, which is saved as I described above.

In regards to images, the only thing you have to do to get the image to show up is make sure that your image filename matches the component name *exactly* and then put the image into the nationality folder that the unit belongs to. In other words, if you made a component called "21cm Morser", and lets say the unit is German nationality, then you make an image file "21cm Morser.bmp" and put it in the ...\German\Units folder. The image should show up when the OOB is loaded. Depending on how you made the image, it may or may not show up as you intend it to look but that is a different issue altogether.

Don't worry about asking questions, the community here is usually helpful and patient. Glenn can be busy at times (as am I), so don't count on answers from a single person all the time.
