ADDIT: If anybody has any comments about the game, or my strategy or anything EXCEPT :) starting a debate about the merits of the CSA, do feel free to ask here in this thread. I'll be pleased to answer. I know the game fairly well, and have beat the AI on Sarge Major a couple times as both Billy Yank and as Johnny Reb. This is my first PBEM with the game however, so it should be a lot of fun, and I should learn a lot.

Against the AI, I have almost exclusively played with Detailed Combat on. This is not an option in PBEM, so I'll be sort of learning about how that works as we go along.
