RE: New Mideast 85 pack by Al Sandrik!
All,
I was away on Family business and took a look at this as soon as I when I got home. It's taken me a while to figure out what's going on here but the bottom line is its my bad/mistake and no one elses!!!!!!!!!
One issue is you must also load Peter Szabo's Lebanon 1982 mod as indicated in the posts above. I sent an E-mail to Glenn about correcting that in the narrative on his site but even after that there are indeed some missing unit pics (T-72, ATGMs, MD-500s, etc). Sorry guys but I'm one of the early owners of this game and I've downloaded a lot of stuff. When I created the units for this scenario I worked off of what was in my folders, but where I got those units I'm not sure. I thought for sure the MD-500s came from Volcanoman or Peter but I guess not. This art work thing has never been an issue with past scenarios that I've created but to be honest none have been this ambitious. So to see what is going on here I completely deleted ME '67 from one of my computers and then (in this order)...
1. Reloaded ME 67 Version 1.01
2. Loaded the ME 67 1.06 Zip from the HPS site (which I downloaded tonight so I have the most current).
3. Loaded Peter Szabo's Lebanon 1982 Add-on (which I also downloaded tonight so its fresh).
4. Loaded the three Volcanoman Add-ons/Artpacks (which I also downloaded tonight so their fresh).
5. Loaded my Mideast 1985 Zip file which I downloaded from Glenn's site tonight so it is the same as what you have on your systems.
So now the best I can do is look at the Editor's Missing Pictures and make a list of the missing art work piece by piece and folder by folder. Then I'll create a new Zip File for Glenn which will include the missing units in their folders. Near as I can tell the scenarios will play unit I get you the art work? Is anyone having a problem with them not playing? Bottom line is I'm working on a fix and will do so as soon as humanly possible. You have my most sincere and humble apologies!
