Hi Al,
great work indeed:bow:
but i just have questions about the Arab OOB especially Lebanese and Palestinians troops (names and strength)
- i am Lebanese and for example, there is some Forces that i didn't heard of and don't know about:rolleyes:
- also there is combination, between the Lebanese Army (christian Brigades) commanded by General Aoun and the "Lebanese Forces"(phalanges): Aoun didn't command any LF Unit.
the LF in 85 was a strong independent militia.
- the Islamic resistance isn't a Shiite independent militia, it is just a name of Hezbollah.
- i assume that the "Leb Islamic forces" are the Muslim part of the Lebanese Army (Muslim Brigades)??:conf:
-where is the Druze militia? a very strong :mad:Progressive Socialist Party  under command of "walid junblat" in 1985.
-there is some units miss placed like Hezbollah and what is called "jundullah" (?!!!): in the chouf Mountains, there wasn't any Sunni or Shiite soldier..... all are druze.
-Hezbollah in 85 wasn't that strong :). Amal was the only main shiite force till the late 80's.
there is other things about the oob .........but for now i would like -with your permission of course- to reorganize the Arab part of the oob, to get it as close as possible to the situation in Lebanon in 1985. i also suggest to add to the pack a short document to introduce the Lebanese-Palestinians militias to the Western player, just to let him know the forces that he lead or oppose.
if you like the idea, may i contact you by Email, to discuss those things??
i may need your sources for the Arab oob, and try to investigate the situation with my knowledge and help from Arabic books and websites.
finally, excuse my English i am not that fluent in it
Best Regards,
