RE: NGP'85 Patrolling feature....huh?
A motorized unit can also patrol.

A-AH !!!, but me thinks a "X" unit could patrol and also suffer no fatigue or casualties even at night against say three or four "XXX" enemy units.
Even if they were also all in patrol mode.

If they are gonna go into patrol mode, then why should it not be as recon spotting, I.E. move forward into another hex/hexes.
And take casualties and incur any fatigue.
Does'nt each sides patrols cancel each other out ?.

This can have a BIG impact in attacker v defenders, as which side would have the most aggressive patrols, or is it patrols against a picket line ?.
Also you can peform other tasks like entrenching while in patrol mode.

Does the two hex patrol range still function during soft or blizzard conditions, in soft going foot can only move one hex in marsh/swamp hexes.

So maybe it should be only rear area security units which can utilise this game feature.
